Typography

 Doing this task helped me find interesting fonts I can use for my title. This was important because I know what looks interesting and different. I also know what size to make my font and know if they look good bold.

Drop caps usually only appear at the very beginning of a double page spread. This is to indicate where it begins as the are quite scattered. They work by drawing your eye towards it as usually the are of different colours to the text and a lot bigger. 

Colours are the main part in a magazine as they can draw you eyes towards it. It can be used for emphasis and they can create contrast. Also too much colour can ruin the page as it is too striking and you don't know what to focus on. I have decided to use black, red and white as they go well together and look good.
